Sweet Wreath with The Flourish & The Verdant Fund presents a free radio
art festival broadcasting sounds & seeds for
people & pollinators. An
all-day sonic art installation at Birmingham's Railroad Park for all ages to experience in person or
via live broadcast. Musical performances and presentations on ecology will be transmitted from a radio art installation in
the field. Visitors can craft fabric pieces for adding to a series of organic trellis sculptures as sounds mingle in the air.

Continuing on the heels of the Sweet Wreath Speaks Radio Art Festival, we're raising the radio tower again at Sweet Wreath to broadcast a series of artist talks and musical experiments!
Merrilee Challiss, Melissa Yes, Julianna Richey and Jasper Lee will share artwork & presentations on the role of art & media in shaping ecological awareness, and how the environment influences artists. Sound works created during the Speaks Radio Art Festival will be re-aired. Touring musician Some Pepper will perform generative music and there will be free milkweed seeds.
